How do webinars work?
It's kind of like watching YouTube on your computer while listening through your telephone. And you don't have to go anywhere! (Still have questions? Call or email Kristi at kristi@rondeal.org or 806-356-7701)
Register today and then "arrive" at the webinar by logging-in with a web link that will be sent to you. Participants within the US will then receive a toll-free phone number to listen to the presentation; international callers will have to pay their toll as usual. You will be able to see and hear the presenters and their PowerPoint presentation, but no one will be able to see or hear you. You can submit questions through the web page chat feature if you like.
How do I register?
Purchase this "product" just as if you were buying a book. Then, within two business days we will send you an email with all the necessary log-in information including your attendee Key code to enter the webinar on the appointed date.
Registration is on the "honor system" so we appreciate you not sharing the information with any one other than your spouse or dating partner (to legitimately have a friend or group participate together, see "Can I invite friends & family members to join me?" below).
International participants are welcome! Please note that the international phone call will be an added cost to you unless you use Skype. To register, you will need to call (806-356-7701) or email (kristi@rondeal.org) our office with your credit card information.
What kind of computer requirements are there?
You need a computer (PC, Mac users should use Firefox, not Safari, and Linux), high-speed internet connection, and telephone.
What does it cost?
$9.95 includes webinar & bonus material (plus the cost of the long-distance phone call, or listen over your computer for free; normal cellular rates and international calling rates apply. Outside the US or use Skype for free). Reduced from $14.95 by a grant from the Chick-fil-A Marriage & Family Foundation (learn more).
NOTE: All tickets sales are final; no refunds if you miss the webinar.
Can I invite friends & family members to join me?
Make some coffee! Yes, you can invite others to join you. Spouses or dating partners can attend for free. To encourage friends and/or small groups to participate together we have created a "Group Registration" option. Share the costs, turn on the speaker phone, and discuss the presentation after the workshop. It's a great way to learn!
Just update your quantity at check-out to reflect the number of people registering.
What if my internet connection drops me during the webinar?
Webinar technology, like cell phones, is not perfect. This may happen. If it does, don't panic, just log-in again using the same link provided. In the meantime, you will still be able to hear the presentation through your telephone.
What does the computer screen look like?
The screen will have a different appearance depending on the portal we use for your event. But you should be able to see the presenter and their presentation. See the sample below.
